Weddings

Claire and Nick

They met at their Catholic high school, and finally tied the knot in the oldest Roman Catholic Cathedral built in the United States close to a decade later. Claire and Nick are sweet down to the bone, and we wanted their wedding day to feel just as sweet. We filled their day to the brim with organic detailing, blush and white accents, mauve tones and a dripping floral chandelier that they danced the night away under. The Mt. Washington Mill Dye House, full with Baltimore history housed their reception for an industrial driven vibe that we balanced with lush and romantic everything. From their hand crafted sweetheart table to velvet lounge sets, this wedding was a dream from start to finish.

Earlier this month they were featured on Ruffled, and I am so excited to share some of my favorite moments with you today!

From the couple:

Our wedding day was almost eight years in the making and it was better than we could have ever imagined. Every moment of the day was pure magic! If I had to pick my favorite part of the day, it would be an easy decision: when the doors of the Basilica opened to see Nick standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me, with tears already in his eyes. A close second was seeing our reception space at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. It was the first wedding reception venue that Nick and I looked at with my parents. When we walked out of the Dye House, we immediately knew that this was the reception venue for us. From the exposed brick to the neutral colors, this venue offered a space where we could transform it into the perfect reception. It became an absolute dream! The design centered on a hanging wreath of flowers and greenery that was suspended over the dance floor. Our design also included gold flatware and mauve accents, which looked stunning with the exposed brick. We were so lucky that there were cherry trees outside of our venue that were in peak bloom for our wedding! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the next stage of our love story.
