2018 Highlights

I have so many words that could describe 2018, but the one that sticks out most is gratitude. I am endlessly grateful for the couples I have had the privilege of working with, the relationships that I have build, the partnerships made, and this little baby on the way most of all. The AME team has executed weddings from Baltimore to the Eastern Shore and all so, so memorable for lots of reasons. But there are some moments that have stuck out throughout the year that I want to share with you! Here are some of my favorites from this past year. And man, am I excited of what 2019 has to come.

All of our brides are incredibly gorgeous, but I have to say these bridal looks took the cake this year. Robin’s classic all lace gown mixed with her fire red hair, bright lips, and softs florals was so refreshing. Stef’s two in one gown was a showstopper! All beaded top with full tulle bottom she then took off to reveal the rest of the beaded beauty. And of course, Christina’s custom cape and fitted gown. I mean, it really doesn’t get better then that.

And they get all prettied for their ceremony first, so lets share some of those shall we? Here are a few of my favorite ceremonies of the year. All unique and personal to the couple.

I have a super soft spot for florals. They make or break a wedding for sure, and when they are good they are GOOD! This year we had so many beautiful floral moments, but these were definitely my favorite bouquets.

Bars have become one of my all time favorite things to incorporate into a wedding day. They are such a huge part of the social side of the day, and often a large focal point. Here are a few that I loved this year!

Speaking of social atmosphere, lets talk about lounges. I LOVE lounges for so many reasons. They add personal style, a relaxing area for guests, and interest to a space. The ones I have loved most:

Escort displays are another one of my favorite ways to incorporate personal style and interest to a space. Custom designs are always a given here, and boards have become a pretty popular approach especially for outdoor weddings. When thinking about escort crds, remember they should be stable and approachable!

Table settings, a given of beauty. Often times where the whole design starts and an eye catcher. A few of my favorites here. Looks like gold was a must this year!

Paper details are some of my favorite details. From invitation suites to day of stationary, it comes down to the intricate pieces of texture and depth that start to tell a story. Beginning with the invitation for your guests, this is a perfect way to set the tone for a wedding day. Here are a few I loved from 2018.

And last but not least. The CAKE! No event is complete without cake.

I can hardly believe that 2018 is over, and the start of 2019 is already here. This past year was incredible, but let me just tell you that there is A LOT in store to look forward to in the year to come. Happy New Year, friends!
