This year is quickly turning into an exciting year of destination weddings in some of my absolute favorite places, and I am way too excited to contain it. In September the AME team will be joining AME bride Erin and her fiance Steve in Rhode Island for an intimate ocean front wedding. Guys, this is going to be stunning!! All I have to say is mauve, ocean front, intimate settings, and touches of nautical. The rest is going to have to wait till September! From the bride: 

We met for the first time 7 years ago. It was my 21st birthday with my twin sister and we were celebrating at a bar in Annapolis, MD. My twin, Jessica had a friend at work from Rhode Island. She invited him to come and celebrate, and he asked if he could bring his friend Steve. Steve had just started working in DC at The Laborer’s International Union of North America, LiUNA for short in late 2009. We had an instant connection. But it wasn’t until August of 2013 when I started working for LiUNA that we met again, years later. We never forgot each other. We started texting, which led to dating, which led to me sleeping over at his Virginia apartment on the weekends, which led to him FINALLY asking me if I wanted a drawer. A DRAWER. In HIS apartment. I melted. A moment I dreamed of since I met this man. About 8 months later, we moved in together in a townhouse in Falls Church, Virginia. It was small and cute and we have SO many amazing memories in our first place together. After a year, we moved to Maryland where I’m from. Closer to my family and friends. We have a fur baby named Boomer, a brindle and white pit bull who is our whole life. He is our everything. Clegg proposed on the most gorgeous day in May 2016 at the Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michael’s. GORGEOUS.  We’re just a happy little family ready to spend the rest of our lives together.
