This past year was one of the busiest for me, and one of the most exciting as I saw my business grow tremendously in so many ways. Not only that, but I saw my couples grow from two individuals to one all while their visions and dreams came to life on their wedding day. It has been a true privilege to work with all of my incredible couples, and am just as excited to work with all my new 2017 and ’18 couples! There is so much to come this year, but first a reflection on last.

As I went through my calendar to write this post, I felt so humbled at all the opportunities that have been given to me, and all the beautiful couples I have worked with. All the professionals that I have had the opportunity to work beside, and all the new friends I have made along the way. In 2016 I worked with 22 amazing couples, curated 23 incredible editorials, went to California for the first time, worked in Charleston (which I hope to do much more), booked a destination wedding, gained a nephew, celebrated my one year anniversary, made countless friends, and that is just the start of it. If I had to pick a word for 2016 it would be “grateful” and that I truly am. I still feel that way moving into the new year with so many plans on my plate. This year has begun with a workshop, trip booked to Nashville, plans to go to countries I have never seen, co-leading the Annapolis TuesdaysTogether group, and some of the most lovely couples I could have only dreamed up on the booked for this year!!

To show you a little bit of exactly what AME was up to in 2016, I put together some of my absolute favorite moments and details from this past year. I tried so hard to limit things to one favorite per category, but it was nearly impossible!
