I have always admired calligraphy, even at a young age I would love writing my name in different ways. It really is a form of art! I have been wanting to truly learn calligraphy for a while now, and when Emily with Anchor Point Paper Co. asked me to plan a workshop with her I immediately jumped at the opportunity! Not only did I get to help plan, but Emily included me in the class at Historic London Town and it was the best way ever to spend my Saturday. I am no expert, but Emily is and watching her work was incredible. I may just have to spend every Saturday with a pen and paper now!! We snacked on some delicious food from The Main Ingredient, played with pen and ink, laughed a lot, and had the best time! These photos from Victoria Selman captured the day so perfectly, and I can’t wait to host another workshop with Emily some day soon.
