They met in their freshman year religion class in high school. He proposed with his YiaYia’s diamond ring. Claire and Nick are just the cutest there could be! I am so excited to be planning their Mt. Washington Dye Mill wedding for next April. It is going to be a day filled with lush greenery and love for sure! Lauren Swann captured their story so beautifully in Downtown Annapolis, and I know you are going to love these two as much as I do!

Nick and I met in our freshman year religion class at Archbishop Spalding, we actually sat a few seats away from each other!  Nick would ask me what grade I would get on my tests, since mine was always the higher grade and he was trying to compare 🙂 We became friends junior year while in a science class together and went on a service trip together!  Nick actually taught me how to pump gas in my car that year and well as helped me learn how to take blood pressure haha! We started dating right after our graduation from high school.

We have been together almost seven years, and these years have flown by! During that time we did long distance in college as Nick was at Virginia Tech and I was at Maryland. We would see each other every 6-8 weeks or so when we would visit each other!  After college, Nick moved back to Maryland for law school (YAY!) and I started graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology and we moved to Baltimore to start this part of our lives together!

We got engaged on July 16, 2016 in Ocean City Maryland, which is a special place for us! We go there together every summer since we started dating.  The day we got engaged, Nick asked if I wanted to go mini golfing, since mini golfing is one of our favorite things to do while in OC.  I have only won I think once against Nick, and we play a lot of mini golf!  Nick told me that if I won he had a surprise for me.  Well I ended up losing by 2 strokes! Nick said he felt bad so he would still surprise me.  When we got back to his Yiayia’s condo, he told me to close my eyes.  When I opened them he was proposing!
