On the second beautiful Sunday in October, I had the opportunity to finally see one of my couples dreams come to life. I had been working with Rita and Dean for about a year to create their intimate wedding, and oh man was it perfect! From the modern gold touches, to the bistro lights over cocktail hour, gold sequin, pops of maroon, and a live caricaturist…this one will be hard to forget! My favorite part was the Rita had planned to wear a simple gray gown for the day, or so Dean thought. Rita and I had been keeping her actual dress a secret for months and man was he surprised! As I walked Rita over to her first look with Dean, tears forms and it was such a special moment. Rita was beaming in her wedding gown and it was the perfect surprise to start their day. The rest is history!
