Amy and Asa are high school sweethearts, and sweethearts they truly are. These two were so amazing to work with and oh my goodness am I going to miss them! If you thought their engagement session was the cutest (if you missed it see it here!) then you are going to fall in love with their wedding. All the blush and romantic details topped off by being located on the waterfront of Annapolis and the most stunning weather in July, this is one of my favorites this season!

One of the things I loved most about their day was that the two of them wanted to involve their family members any way they could. Their grandmothers were the flowers girls, talk about the cutest. Asa’s uncle officiated their ceremony and it was beautiful, personal, and even a little funny. Of course their vows were the sweetest too! Amy’s uncle is an incredible guitarist and played all the music for the ceremony. After the ceremony Amy’s uncle approached me and mentioned that he and her brother had a surprise for Amy that they wanted to have done right after their first dance. As a planner, surprises on the wedding day aren’t my favorite 😉 but this was was ABSOLUTELY my favorite. The two of them asked Amy and Asa to the dance floor as they played and sang a sweet duet. Man do I wish I had a video to share, it was nothing short of a tear jerker. Sweet moments are what weddings are truly made of and makes everything worth while. Birds of a Feather captured every single one along with all the beautiful details. Congratulations Amy and Asa, I wish you a marriage just as beautiful as your wedding day!
