Hi, I'm Adriana and welcome to my journal. Stop by and stay a while to see some of my fun and heartfelt weddings, editorials, planning tips, and more!
Yesterday this shoot was featured on the oh so awesome, Festival Brides! This shoot is sincerely one of my favorites for so many reasons, so I just had to share more of this one.
I created this shoot environment for the not so typical bride, and hoped to inspire brides to incorporate their personality, hobbies, and a non-traditional bridal look into a portrait session. I thought of the few weeks before the aisle, and how a bride will soon make a huge life change. Having a few photos of herself in her true element before she walks down the aisle to meet her other half would be a true blessing!
The story behind the shoot stemmed from the models love for music as she is a singer and song writer. We wanted to use personal items to show how a bridal portrait session can truly speak of personality, which led us to the incorporation of her guitar and her grandmothers vintage record player. I also wanted to show some creative ways to use florals which I brought in through decking out the beautiful guitar and record player in organic blooms.
I hope to inspire couples to not be afraid to incorporate their personalities and story into their wedding day!
