Hi, I'm Adriana and welcome to my journal. Stop by and stay a while to see some of my fun and heartfelt weddings, editorials, planning tips, and more!
Kate from Kate Ann Photography and I did a small shoot together on the beach back in August, and we got to chatting that day about out next shoot together. We both had a huge passion for eventually doing something that incorporated an edgier couple, something with a motorcycle or a tattooed couple. Well, one day I decided to reach a bit outside of my comfort zone and do something TOTALLY different from the norm and true magic happened. I asked Kate to collaborate and she immediately said YES and the little edgy side of me jumped for joy.
As a planner I get all kinds of clients that come through my doors, and often times same sex couples with very different ideas for their day. I wanted to put some meaning behind this shoot for that purpose exactly, and we decided on mixing a darker edgy side with a modern meets garden side to create an elopement scene that was truly both of theirs. We incorporating soft amber tones, raw textures, soft florals, and lots of bold black and white to make these two brides different visions come to life. The rustic textures and earthy details of the location make for a relaxed and unique elegance. We love the incorporation of subtle modern touches to the soft yet textured wedding scene of Historic London Town and Gardens! Imagine the newly married brides escaping for an intimate ceremony and picnic-like reception on the coastline of Annapolis. Without being over-produced, this setting is ideal for the romantic and organic couple seeking a styled look on their special day.
Last week this shoot was featured on 100 Layer Cake head on over for the full post there!
Thanks so this ^ incredible team for making this shoot come to life!! You are the best.
